MSG offers generous student and early career bursaries TWICE a year to help students to attend conferences and workshops.

The next deadline for bursary applications will be in April 30th 2023.
Bursaries :
- Are open to any postgraduate student (UK or international), plus postdocs who have completed their PhD within the last 2 years.
- Only cover conferences and workshops, they do not cover fieldwork costs.
- Are generally of a value of around £200
- Will only be awarded to applicants who have previously presented at an MSG annual Research in Progress meeting (including online) OR for students to attend an MSG Research in Progress meeting for the first time.
- Awards are given only once per degree.
- Recipients will be expected to write a brief report on their experience after their return, to be published on the MSG website.
